Programmes
Jiujiang Chinese Language Education Centre
Jiujiang Chinese Language Education Centre was established in April 2000. The Centre is one of the first twenty-two centres approved of by Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs under the State Council of China. The Centre has sent more than thirty Chinese teachers and students to Cambodia, Thailand, and the Philippines to help the Chinese Educational Institutes of these countries with Chinese teaching and training teachers of Chinese. From 2005, the Centre has been doing the training courses program to the Overseas Chinese teachers from the world.
CMB Program
CMB (Chinese Medical Board of New York) has given monetary aid to Jiujiang University since 1988. The aid has been extended to twelve projects designed to further improve and enhance the medical educational programs at the college, totaling a value of more than two million US dollars
Friendly Association between Jiujiang and Yamatotakada Japan
The Friendly Association between Yamatotakada Japan and Jiujiang P. R. China was set up in 1994. Educational visits between the two cities have been conducted frequently since the Japanese students who were learning Chinese in Yamatotakada, Naraken, Japan visited Jiujiang in August 1988. The Friendly Association between Jiujaing and Yamatotakada was founded in 2001 at Jiujiang University.
Exchange Students with Chiang Mai University, Thailand
Three students of English Major in the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Jiujiang University in China will be selected as the exchange students to study in the Faculty of Humanities, Chiang Mai University per year and vice versa.
Internship at the schools in North Thailand
More than 10 graduates of Jiujiang University have been selected to do the internship at the schools in North Thailand per year since 2004.
Further study at Universit¨¦ de Poitiers in France
Graduates of Jiujiang University may further their postgraduate study at Universit¨¦ de Poitiers in France after 6-10 months French training and bridge courses study in Jiujiang University.
Higher Education Cooperation with University of Sunderland on NCC programme
Through this international education partnership, higher education and specific training opportunities will be available for a certain number of Chinese young people, who will consequently be able to make a greater contribution to the future development of China and to the development of economic, business and trade relations between UK and P. R. China. The first two joint educational programmes are Computing (Animation Design) and Business and Management (Financial Management).
